Chicago Cubs Garden Gnome

Well I’ve seen quite a few things in my day, but I done seen bout everything after I saw the Chicago Cubs Garden Gnome. Granted, I have seen the Garden Gnome in other varieties of MLB teams, but the Cubs Garden Gnome tops the charts. If I had a garden, I would have this Gnome proudly displayed there. However, since I do not have a garden, it would be difficult to display my garden gnome. And, it might be especially risky since it would be such a hot item. The Chicago Cubs Garden Gnome is quite the novelty!

Mexican Eagle

We can share the women we can share the WINE!!!! If you follow my drift, then you know when the sun is so hot the EAGLES FILLED THE SKY. One of the most interesting things I noticed down Mexico way was those Mexican Eagles. Couldn’t believe how many were around. Very cool sight. And, when they started dive bombin those pelicans and friggate birds, man, that’s some stuff…. I wanna party with those birds. Mexican Eagles…. check ‘em out.

At the request of Ernie Banks, Eddie threw together a song for the Cubs (“All the Way”). He got a pretty good live version of it at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago this August. It’s now being played on Chicago radio and at the Bleacher Bars around Wrigleyville. We have decided to make the song available for download – you can get it here. There’s a chance we’ll also make available some hard copy CDs and we’re looking into souvenir 45 singles, as well. Check back here for the latest. Go, Cubs, go! EOM.

Going back to Cali

Cali, cali, cali…. I’m going back to Cali, yeah! Well, can’t wait. I am headed to Mountain View, California for my first trip to the GooglePlex. I have heard everything is googley there and it is a wonder world of it’s own. I do wonder though, where will Google be in 20 years? Although they rule the world of search (and more) today, what will the future look like. A mass communication company? An advertising empire? Probably will acquire a few more businesses and become so engulfed in the daily lives of the human race that they will have more of a household name than P&G or Amway (LOL). Anyways, I will report back in the year 2028 and let you know if they are still around

Amanda Overmyer and the Cubs

Went to the Cubs game last night…. and right in front of us was the American Idol contestant: Amanda Overmyer. We chatted, and had fun, but we didn’t really bug her. She was SOOOO busy with fans coming up to her asking for autographs that we thought it would be kinda tacky to do the same. So instead, we just papparazzied her and got this snapshot (with Cubbies in the background). A beautiful night at Wrigley Field, and the Cubs won (again). Actually, to tell you the truth, Eric G knew exactly who she was, and had to enlighten me. But it’s all good…. we had fun watching the home team hit homers out of the park. Go Cubbies, Go Idols!
