Danny DeVito’s Limoncello
Posted by bigsky4 on June 9, 2007
Here it is, an encore performance to a former post (see Chilentina ain’t no Limoncello)…. I now give you the words to Danny DeVito’s Limoncello jingle:
Danny DeVito’s…. Limoncello….
It’s a taste delight from this famous fellow.
It’s oh so very nice, perfect served cold on ice,
The finest summer drink from Italy.
So mi amiche, se da fina….
Limoncello, you really gotta try it.
It’s the drink of italy, just try it and you’ll see,
What the lemon… was meant to be.
DeVito’s Limoncello yessire!

My nieces both like the cookie monster, and I just happen to think the ”C is for Cookie” song is a very catchy jingle. Enjoy! Listen here:

Paperclick Peanut Butter
Posted by bigsky4 on June 5, 2007
What you say???? What does Paperclick and Peanut Butter have to do with eachother? Well, it all reverts back to the Yahoo! Peanut Butter Manifesto. Yahoo is in a state of flux, the 1000 pound Gorilla (Goooogle) is stomping on their back…. MSN is in a race hot on the heels of Yahoo, and Ask.com…. well, noone asked Ask! In the meantime, the manifesto points out the state of disarray within the walls and halls of Yahoo. But, it’s not anything Yahoo needs to fret about. Their business model is ‘different’ than Google, and there is plenty of room in the sandbox for everyone to play together. Peanut butter and paperclicks go together like to peas in a pod. I think the paperclick is misunderstood. Poor paperclick. But, with a little evangelization, and some solid, fundamental moves in strategy, the tactics will all come together. This is just what Peanut butter did for Yahoo. I think we can all learn from this one, and apply the message to the means. That’s it for now, ’til next time!

Chilentina ain’t no Limoncello
Posted by bigsky4 on June 1, 2007
As Danny Devito knows, Limoncello is definitely a tasty apertif. He should, he just made his own. DeVito’s Limoncello:

But, enough about DeVito…. let’s talk about the real deal. The Chilentinian’s. Here’s the scoop: Two days ago, the Argentinian’s decided to SHUT OFF THE NATURAL GAS TO CHILE. Yes, you heard me. All of Chile’s natural gas was shut off. I am not sure, but I think this is a national disaster of sorts…. a nationwide dilemma.
A friend of mine, who used to live in Chile, but now lives in the grand ole city of Mundelein, keeps tabs on her former home. She has family there in Chile, and told me the tension is hot between nations. It’s interesting, the Chilean’s control most of the minerals and ores in the southern part of South America. But, obviously, the Argentinian’s control the Natural Gas. Can’t we all just get along????
Moral of the story: I’m not sure, but I think Danny DeVito is on to something as he sings his Limoncello song (click the Harbrew link above). Now, if the Chilean’s take a page out of DeVito’s book and share their Carmenere with the Argentinians, I think we just all might make it.
